As far as I can tell this hasn't already been reported.
This is in the beta, build 2.1 r6483. The trigger for this seems to be if I've already loaded something into one of the decks and then I try to load another track into it (this is while playback on that deck is stopped). If I eject the previous track first it seems fine.
Mixxx empties the deck and then hangs my laptop altogether so that I have to do a forced power-off and restart.
I'm on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
macOS 10.13.2
2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 processor
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB graphics
It also occasionally crashes on exit, as evidenced by the 'Mixxx unexpectedly quit' dialog coming up the next time I load it.
