My Tascam 208i has 8 outputs (4 output pairs) to go with the Mixxx outputs I use (Decks 1 and 2, samplers on Center, Preview Deck on headphones). My (3rd hand) Mackie mixer has even more inputs. So, routing Mixxx's headphone output to an input pair on the mixer is no problem. And it means I can listen to the Preview Deck (or other Mixxx PFL) without extra equipment.

But, what I can't currently do is check what Mixxx is receiving through its Broadcast input without re-assigning Mixxx's output channels. A PFL on the Broadcast input would save me from having to do this.
