Daniel do you have any details on your design to share?

It would be a bummer if we ended up with an effectively Linux-audio-expert
route to aux send/receive effects.

Is your design abstract enough to support multiple different transports?
For example, SoundFlower on OS X or Virtual Audio Cable on Windows?

This sounds like a potentially very complicated change to Mixxx and it
would be ideal if we could discuss the design first before you spend time
on it.
