enlarge album cover view rather than library side panel when hiding preview deck

Bug Description

Currently when using LateNight, when the preview deck is hidden, the library side panel (Library, Auto DJ, Playlists...) grows vertically. Because this list is short and probably not looked at very often, I think it would make more sense to grow the album cover view instead.

The cover art size is determined by the width of the panel because it's square. Stretching the panel to the right will make it bigger.

Now that the preview deck in LateNight has moved from the treeview to below the decks, this bug is kinda obsolete.

Nonetheless i think the cover view widget needs some work (all skins).

It can grow xxl ( we provide a click-to-enlarge feature already) and always takes 50% height of the whole treeview, which does not makes sense. Think maximized library view or HDPI screens.
What about clamping cover view to a maximum size or adding a horizontal splitter between cover view and treeview content? Thoughts?

In Shade, the cover art is between tree and table. That works for me.

As proposed in lp:1517649 , we can add a resizable cover widget below the library tree to LateHight. This is how its done in Deere.
So the user can decide about the actual size of the Cover widget.
