I have great news! I finally decided to try out the MinGW suite that's available for Fedora Core, i.e. cross-compile the MS Windows version of Mixxx using Linux.

It's running! It's not totally working yet, but the GUI comes up, and there are no mysterious crashes.

I'll probably make a branch with all of my changes, and eventually ask that it be merged into the trunk.
