Sure, though we're swimming in these "someday" bugs and I'm trying to close as many of them as I can. :)

As I said 2 years ago, code is a liability and I can't support a direct dependence on JACK as a solution to this bug from a code and project maintenance perspective. There would have to be an extremely compelling product use case for that to make sense.

If we can work with PortAudio to improve their JACK-specific customization that would be a great solution to this bug.
