I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a 'position scratch' but I'm taking it to mean that the input provides track position information? If so, then that's needed for vinyl control in absolute mode too (which already works very well,) but not for controllers since they always send relative position information.

Combining the three inputs into a common solution would have a performance benefit I think since then you only need one high-resolution timer instead of three separate ones.
