So it might crashes somehow when doing some waveform stuff even when Empty is selected for waveforms.
Are the spinnies activated?
Do you use the latest driver for your graphic card?
Please provide a log from a crash when changing Waveforms to Simple GL and one from a crash when enable you try to enable spinnies if any.
Does windows tray to generate a crash report? Is there a message box after the crash?
