Comment 8 for bug 1253868

I spent much of last week chasing a bug which it turns out was due to the fact that the server already allows a client to have multiple buffers outstanding simultaneously. Or at least we already support returning buffers to clients who are holding and working on other buffers already.

I think this bug was resolved a while ago. Although we introduced a related regression that stopped things from working optimally, I'm working on that in bug 1480164...
