Bug Description

On Settings, the default start page always need to begin with protocol e.g. "http://".
Of course there is a kind of signal (red background of Textbox) but it is not so clear. In this way that TextBox has a different behaviour from the address bar.

There is no technical limitation strictly speaking. But there's no obvious way to know what eg. typing "circus" or "wp Cat" would do. That's why it's disallowed. If you think it's useful, this needs to be addressed.

Thanks for the answer :)
I think it's a lesser problem of course, but as a firefox user, I used to type www.address.ok without specification of protocol so I was setting the default page and then I wanted to check it out.
Result: error, I was wondering about connession issues :D because I didn't noticed the red background at first sight. I think it would be a "fail safe" setting to put "http://" if user didn't. As a suggestion you can check the right syntax (without protocol) using a regular expression.

Thank you!
