Url without "http" are red underlined in Startup settings

Bug Description

OS: Luna Beta1
Browser:Midori

Steps to reproduce:
1.Open Midori browser
2.Navigate Settings->Startup->Homepage
3.try to insert some Url without protocol specification (e.g. Google.com)

Result: Url is red underlined like in case it is wrong.
Confusing for user from my point of view.

The URL incomplete like that is indeed wrong and you did understand what it does. So the actual issue would be whether users commonly "disagree" that an incomplete URL is valid in this context.
