This looks quite nice. One thing, the minimum doesn't seem to have any effect, the tabs get so small that page icon and close button overlap.

I think this should actually be changed inside midori-browser.c itself, there's no drawback and it improves behaviour in general. Minimum should be at least icon + close button. Maybe more but I don't have a strong opinion there, as I don't recommend anyone to use 50 tabs without enabling the tab panel.
