@Bibmaster - you must have run microstack.init with --setup-loop-based-cinder-lvm-backend. Optionally specifying --loop-device-file-size to specify the size.

e.g. the following creates a 50G loop device and configures Cinder LVM

sudo microstack.init --auto --control --setup-loop-based-cinder-lvm-backend --loop-device-file-size 50
