IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/home/.../G27b/events.lhe'

Hi,

  I encounter a problem at MG5 level when I was generating the events like ttxx (x= b, c, ..) with version v2.1.2.
  And here is the debug.log file. Is it the problem due to the version, or something else?

Do you have a directory
/home/johnshiu/Desktop/MadGraph5_v2_1_2/Project/BG_ttbb_ljbbbb/SubProcesses/P0_gg_ttxbbx_t_bwp_wp_lvl_tx_bxwm_wm_qq/G27b/

What is the content of such directory?

Could you attach the log file present in that directory?

  Thank you very much for your reply.
  I have the directory /home/johnshiu/Desktop/MadGraph5_v2_1_2/Project/BG_ttbb_ljbbbb/SubProcesses/P0_gg_ttxbbx_t_bwp_wp_lvl_tx_bxwm_wm_qq/G27b/

  However, there is no files related to run_03, which is the error run.
  Here is the log.txt

Looks like this job crash.

Could you do

cd /home/johnshiu/Desktop/MadGraph5_v2_1_2/Project/BG_ttbb_ljbbbb/SubProcesses/P0_gg_ttxbbx_t_bwp_wp_lvl_tx_bxwm_wm_qq/G27b/
../madevent < input_sg.txt

Then we will see what error is raised.

It has been running for a long time with repeatedly showing something like:

 Parton interpolation: Q2 out of range -- freezed
 Q2 = 103236577.87882854 GeV2 1.0000000000000000
 Parton interpolation: Q2 out of range -- freezed
 Q2 = 108832725.71147808 GeV2 1.0000000000000000
 Parton interpolation: Q2 out of range -- freezed
 Q2 = 108832725.71147808 GeV2 1.0000000000000000

is it normal?

Hi,

This means that the pdf set that you are using do not support the energy that you provide. This particular point should be solve in our latest version since we ask the nnpdf collaboration to
provide to us a pdf set which support the 100TeV range. But I do not think that this is the reason of the crash (but it might be).
