Bug Description

Currently there are no programs in Ubuntu or Medibuntu to utilize a LightScribe drive's label burning ability. Adding 4L (LaCie LightScribe Labeler for Linux) to Medibuntu would help. This is a closed-source freeware program.

It uses something called "LightScribe host software" - this should probably be in a separate package, since it provides a common interface to access LightScribe devices, and there's a newer version available e.g. from here:

There are also existing Debian and Ubuntu packages floating around.
