Bug Description

I know many people have problems installing LightScribe, especially on 64bit.
So I made Ubuntu DEB packages with these LightScribe software for Linux:
 - LightScribe System Software - libs for LightScribe labeling
 - LightScribe Simple Labeler
 - LaCie LightScribe Labeler
All packages are for i386 and amd64 architecture. Amd64 packages are a little different, because the binaries are 32bit (it use 32libs). I tested them in Gutsy and Hardy.
It would be great if these packages are included in Medibuntu repository. Is it possible?
I would of course take care about these packages and when new version is released I would make new packages.

Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.
I guess these programs are non-free, but are they freely redistribuable or not? If they are not, they could go in Medibuntu, otherwise they should be accepted in Ubuntu (multiverse).

Are your packages (source and binary packages) available somewhere?

Binary packages are for now available on my website:

I'm not sure if these programs are freely redistributable, because my English isn't good enough to understand all parts of the licence you have to agree before downloading the software:

Hi,
if I understand correctly the lightscribe's license it's not freely redistributable, so Medibuntu is probably the right place to put your packages, but you have only provided links to the binary packages and not the source package(orig.tar.gz and diff.gz) you've made. Could you please upload it somewhere so that we can review them?

There are no source packages because I made these packages manually. When I was making them I didn't know that anybody would put them in a repository.
But it is not a problem, if it's necessary I will make the packages once more and make also the source packages.
