Comment 3 for bug 1484939

The part of it not appearing on the app scope is not a bug, this was on purpose. You can't do anything with mediaplayer-app by launching it directly, so that's why it went away from the list of apps to launch. Simply go to the video-scope and select a video to watch and mediaplayer-app will launch. Your screenshots do show a valid issue though.
