Don't worry, you're not wasting time.

I'll have a look at the attached file.

I can see that you've created a branch, now all you have to do is:

1) `bzr branch lp:me-tv`
2) `cd me-tv`
3) Make your modifications to dvb-si.h
4) `bzr push --remember lp:~siegfried-winter/me-tv/DVBS_scanning`

You might need an extra parameter on 4 because it's a clean branch but bzr will inform you of that.
