Calendar - event creation not working

[livingdaylight]

Added 'Google' Calendar profile, named it 'Personal' and all seems good except when I go to create an 'Event'
I can put in all the details but nothing saves or shows up in the calender when I complete the Event.

I know this works for some people on elementary freya, just not here for
me.
Where can I follow up for solutions and resolutions?
