Comment 3 for bug 328353

i have experienced the same problem with my 2.1.12rc2 installation. after reading the comments above i upgraded to 2.1.12 (final), however digests are stuck and not being processed and i still get the following error in my error log:

Mar 08 17:42:14 2009 (23828) send_digests() failed: decoding Unicode is not supported
Mar 08 23:29:11 2009 (23828) send_digests() failed: decoding Unicode is not supported
Mar 08 23:52:05 2009 (23828) send_digests() failed: decoding Unicode is not supported

i am using opensolaris snv_105 and python 2.4.4.
