hi Mark and elaine,

i applied the patch for Charset.py and was able to successfully send the digest for one of the mailing lists.
i am concerned about the shunted messages. according to Marks's post at <http://mail.python.org/pipermail/mailman-users/2009-March/065399.html> (excuse me for cross-posting), messages should be unshunted in order to be archived. is it correct to assume that they will only be archived and not resend again to members of the list, thus duplicated ?
