I cannot reproduce this bug. I sent a message with a Bcc: to a list with a
bogus address. It got held for approval. I used the admindb web page to
approve the post and it got sent the proper number of times. This is with
current CVS snapshot (approximately 2.0beta5).

Can you provide a reproducible recipe?

the only odd thing is that all qfiles that behaved normally would have
mailman.mailman userid and groupid. the messages that behaving strangely
have nobody.mailman .

other than that, i couldnt see anything wrong at all, ive never had this
problem with other 2.0betas.

hrm, I had a bunch of re-sends that appear related to bounces, as well -
but not approval. See bug 111843; I put a traceback there from my error
log. The number of re-sends seems to be the same as the number of
errors...

See the resolution for bug #111843. I believe the bit about approvals and
uid/gids are not related. The bug can be triggered by fatal errors (i.e.
> 500) in the SMTP transaction.

I think I may have tracked down one of the (potential) causes of this
problem.

See bug #117015 for a description.
