Comment 0 for bug 1469427

I used mail notification with Ubuntu 12.04 and the icon was always visible in the systray. When I migrated to Ubuntu MATE 15.04 the icon becomes visible only in case of new mail. Is there a known solution to this little problem?

I don't know if it's related, but the tooltip that shows all the incoming mail and other useful informations when the mouse is over the icon is also not visible.
