I have tried reproducing this on Mahara version 1.4.1testing (2011061003) with Chromium 12.0.742.91 (87961) Ubuntu 11.04

I could not reproduce your error.

Could you let us know what browser and operating system you were using when you found this bug. Maybe a screenshot of just before the whitescreen and just after would also be good.
