Hi Francois. Thank you for reporting this. I could verify it on my local instance as well, and it didn't just happen with a site admin account, but also a regular user account. I don't think the page's update date should change when the page is only viewed or commented on.

We'll need to look into that. We'll also need to check if it happens in the other supported versions of Mahara.

To replicate:

1. Set up a page as User A and share it with "Registered users". To test faster, you may want to change the creation and update time in the DB to a day earlier.
2. Log in as User B, click the page title in the "Latest changes I can view" block and go back to the dashboard page. The date for the page will have changed to today's date. If you haven't changed the date, go back to the page itself and look at the update date at the bottom and see that the time is different.

This happens when no changes are made to the page but it is just viewed.

Expected result: The update date is the original date and is only changed when actual changes are made to the page.
