When requesting friendship, the fact that sending a message is optional is not obvious to screen reader users. There should be some (possibly hidden) help text linked to the text box to make it clearer that the message is optional, eg. "Optionally send a message to this user"

This will be made somewhat clearer when #1259393 is fixed, so it's just a wishlist item.
