Wether this a bug or not, this problem and how to fix it is documented in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook , https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook_Santa_Rosa and https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro with different solutions. I think it's time to write a new entry in the wiki (Apple Keyboards)
