Hi Wouter,

Network testing is part of the MAAS roadmap but it is not currently a priority. This request falls under what we would do for network testing.
1. Commissioning doesn't setup network interfaces because network information is gathered at this stage.

2. Deployed machines do not have a an agent that would allow for this to happen, and we are not looking to have an agent for MAAS.

Also note that AFAIK, field SLA doesn't cover feature requests, and this is a new feature.
