I think it is important to separate the two languages. In most cases we want to provide a german translation if an english song in our church is used. Or we have some american friends and want to give them an english translation. The font style of the second language should be "reserved", whereas the font style of the first language should be big and to the fore.

I think it could be implemented like that: With two radio buttons in the song editor the user can choose between one and two languages. In the editor there could also be a visual feedback if two languages are selected. For example all odd lines are bold or something similar.

In the settings the user would be able to specify font, color, size, ... of both languages.

In the playlist there should be the possibility to toggle both languages or show only one of them.
