Ahhhhh I missed that one because it's not in the head! Sorry for wrong info!

And this is in the middle of the <body> while it should be in <head>!
Maybe that's what makes the lxml really go astray?

Actually if the problem is so easy then a regex throwing out an meta tags from inside <head> might be enough for workaround in my case too.
