mixture of mono and colour icons in menu

Bug Description

Latest daily from PPA.
Click on menu and the icons shown a re mono, go to a sub menu and the icons a colour, this looks a bit inconsistent.

This is not a bug. The icons are designed to look that way. If you goto Preferences > Customise Look and Feel > Icon Theme, you can change the icons. You could probably install your own icon theme, although I don't know how to do that.

Could you please add a screenshot? If you're talking about the menus inside an app it's normal, the "device" related icons are monochrome, as they're designed to show like that on PCManFM (set sidebar to 16px and you'll see, by default it's 22px and coloured).
