After analyzing the files your script generated, I've come to the conclusion that, in my case, the calls to turn on and off the discrete GPU (an AMD in this case) is:

_SB_.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.SGOF
_SB_.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.SGON
