Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. When launching LottaNZB for the first time, a dialog should appear allowing you to select "Download to this computer" or "Monitor the downloads of another computer". Did the dialog appear and the application controls remainined inactive after you closed it or didn't the dialog appear at all? You could also open a terminal and run "lottanzb" to see if there are any errors while launching LottaNZB.

In either case, the bug is going to be fixed because I'm currently busy rewriting LottaNZB.
