Comment 4 for bug 121236

Hi, I am the admin for the drupal site on ubuntu-il.org:
(1) I tried to set up an ubuntu favicon.ico instead of the drupal icon but it doesn't seem to work. Can we have an ubuntuish icon?
(2) How can I, or my users, upload images to be later used on different pages? The upload module allows 'attaching' files to nodes, which is not the desired behaviour. I want to be able to upload a set of images, and then be able to link to them from within my pages.
(3) Is it possible to backup the site and its database? I can provide a server and SSH keys for you to set up on your servers. This way I can't access your precious servers but you can access mine and put the backup files.

As for (1), a simple solution might be to replace the drupal favicon in the ubuntu-il RTL theme folder to the ubuntu icon. Then when setting drupal to use default theme's icon all will be good.
As for (2), from my past experience with drupal I can suggest popular modules that help with this functionality.
