Bug Description

Problem occurs on a desktop running an AMD Phenom II quad 945 with an nVidia G force 315 Graphics card.

OS is both Mint 12 32 bit and 64 bit RC

On resume from suspend, the panel(s) is whited out except for the graphical section of the system-monitor extension, and notifications and the shutcown menu are unreadable due to pixelation.

If the right spot on the panel is clicked, the functions are all there, but all dropdowns including the Main Menu are unreadable. The menu in my AWN dock works and is fully readable, but the shutdown menu is unreadable even when called from the AWN menu. (See attached screenshot)

This has happened every time I attempted to use suspend since the OS were installed on November 13.

Tried the same on a computer running an Intel Core i5 and Intel Graphics and could not reproduce the problem. I am assuming it is due to the AMD CPU, the nVidia graphics card, or a combination of both.

An identical problem was reported on the Mint forum by member bazcor. This prompted me to file this bug report.
