32 bit linuxmint-debian sugar-desktop fails with "aptitude install sucrose-0.88"

32 bit linuxmint-debian-201101-gnome-dvd-i386.iso

 linuxmint-debian sugar-desktop fails with "aptitude install sucrose-0.88"
 errors "no xpcom server" when installing

Sugar-emulator: Xephyr on :30.0 starts on click to change color but no arrows <- or -> to go back or proceed to desktop
gdm login behaves the same way

after 177 updates get same errors:

64 bit linuxmint-debian-201012-gnome-dvd-amd64.iso works fine. Only on AMD Turion 64x2 hp laptop
Sugar-desktop runs correctly

I'm confused, did you report this in http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/? I couldn't find it there.

Also, I didn't see this issue on Ubuntu. Did you test this in other distributions to see whether it is a Linux Mint-specific problem?

Only in 32 bit has failure 64 bit works

It works in Ubuntu in both 32 and 64 bit
