Is is possible to run the Backup Tool as a normal user when using the folder/file backup? Such as the option to run it with normal user privileges?

Perhaps, the tool can be run as a normal user, and the interface will have an "Unlock" icon to run it with root privileges? This is how the Users Admin tool works: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/22.jpg
