Correction - suspend seems to be fine (which is actually quite cool as I haven't been using it because my network connection used to die)

However, I can replicate the issue with Hibernate. Menu - Quit - Hibernate. Restart takes some time (my perception is that it is longer than a restart from Shutdown, by I may be wrong) then comes up with no apps open.

I can live with it, if Suspend functions, as that is much faster to start up.
