Installed it yesterday to replace older installation, same thing again. Qiana Cinnamon, Intel processor, EFI/GPT. But, I've noticed the same thing happening some months ago, when I installed it in a friend's computer without EFI. I've noticed one clear thing: in every case, I opted to manage the partitions manually during install.
