cause: leftover customized theme from mint 12

Why: I partitioned my HD, /(root) in one partition and /home in another. I do this to avoid having to restore a large number of files when I migrate to another version of an operating system. This has worked well in the past with Windows, Ubuntu, and earlier versions of mint.

The first time I loaded mint, I left /home intact and just formatted / (root) and loaded Mint13 there. Then re-booted and got the failure. The system booted up with my old theme, that caused the failure(failure to display mplayer icons).

I reloaded Mint13Mate and this time deleted all of the hidden files in /home except for .mozilla and .thunderbird folders. The boot after the reinstall loaded the Mint13mate default theme.

When I opened mplayer, it had the correct icons for the control buttons, and it had a new logo in the opening screen. Then I tried various themes and verified that the failure reoccurred when the custom theme was loaded.

FIX: Delete failing customized theme
