Ok. Can i get a dmesg log of booting with "drm.debug=14 nouveau.reg_debug=0x0200 log_buf_len=1M", and also the vbios image. While running nouveau it can be retrieved from /sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/vbios.rom, you may need to mount debugfs (mount -t debugfs none /sys/kernel/debug) first.

I suspect nouveau has some issue with the eDP panel.
