After many tests, I can confirm that this bug affects ALL Distros with Kernel 2.6.17-12 or upper.

Some other experiments to try with a "working" kernel and Bluetooth enabled:
rmmod uhci-hcd and modprobe it back. Do the same with ehci-hcd. Unload both
of them and then modprobe them back in one order or the other. Maybe it will
turn out that the so-called "working" kernel doesn't always work.
