Hi,

I've tested the latest upstream kernel and it seems the problem still exists.

[hloeung@darkon tmp]$ uname -a
Linux darkon 3.11.10-03111001-generic #201312110635 SMP Wed Dec 11 11:35:43 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

(from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.11.10.1-saucy/)

Without 11n_disable=1:

Notice the high Tx excessive retries? Now iwlwifi module reloaded with 11n_disable=1:

| [hloeung@darkon tmp]$ ping 203.12.160.35 -c 100 | grep -v 'ttl=[[:digit:]]\+[[:space:]]time=[[:digit:]]\{2\}\.'

Hope this helps.
