Please also provide the exact model of the onboard intel graphics card in this laptop. You can find this information by running the command "lspci | grep VGA" (without the quotes) in a terminal window. If this laptop has an "Intel Corporation 82852/855GM", this bug report is most likely a duplicate of bug #566379.
