Ubuntu 9.04 - Jaunty Jackalope on an Asus Eee 1000HA: The wlan drivers (downloaded with the Jaunty USB image) for the Atheros AR5007EG wifi card embedded in this machine slow the wifi down to around 30 kbps - unbelievably slow. I have been reduced to installing a wifi dongle to allow me to connect reliably to the AP. The dongle connects to the AP at a reported 58 Mbps.
I have tried the madwifi driver and also the NDISwrapper with the windows driver with little success.
