Ubuntu recently released an update, v22.04.4, which included an updated version of bluez v5.63. One of the bugs fixed by the update was "Fix issue with storing IRK causing invalid read access." My previous experience was wit Ubuntu v22.04.3 with a linux 6.5x kernel. The new build has Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-21-generic paired with the bluez update. Having no more bluetooth issues with this new build (Ubuntu minimal including snap) as I did with the 22.04.3 build perhaps it's possible these changes resolved the bluetooth issue of the BT mouse disconnecting without reason. Others may want to try this. If it turns out to be helpful, please post to this bug report and perhaps we can move on to additional updates like Ubuntu 24.04 scheduled for April.
