Just tested the http://snapshots.linaro.org/components/kernel/linaro-edk2/18/release/
I used "FS3:\EFI\grub\grubaa64.efi" to launch grub(installed by grub-install),then exited to uefi menu , then got into uefi shell again.
I have tested it several times, but didn't get any "Synchronous Exception:" error .
