Strange: Following is the command i used to flash images to my panda board:
sudo linaro-media-create --mmc /dev/sdc --dev panda --hwpack-force-yes --hwpack /home/arm/work/boards/panda/hwpack_linaro-lt-panda-x11-base_20120826-270_armhf_supported.tar.gz --binary /home/arm/work/rootfs/linaro/linaro-precise-nano-20120826-361.tar.gz
Which obviously have the same packages that you mentioned. And when i boot panda board with this setup.. can't see eth0..
Tested again today.
Size of packages:
