Bug Description

Snowball fails to boot with oneiric 3/16 2012 lt hwpack and oneiric ubuntu-desktop 3/16 build.

Enclosed is the log. No output on my HDMI screen.

Have you tried flashing your board with a more recent image?

I tried to reproduce on my Snowball v11 using microSD with today hwpack/rootfs (20120323-0). It booted successfully to Unity, HDMI worked.

I have the issue with hwpack/rootfs 20120323-0.

I have use command to fill my sdcard

That kernel command line is completely different to mine.

What image are your Snowballs flashed with?

We have re-based our HWPacks on 3.3 kernels as of the 12.03 release. We will mark this bug as "won't fix" since it is 3.2 kernel based and we are not planning on spending any time on this kernel.

Set to Fix-Released, the issue is fixed with latest hwpack (>= 20120404-0) based on 3.3 kernel.
It isn't planned to fix it in 3.2 serie.

Wrt Lee comment, Igloo recommends to flash on eMMC using riff:
http://www.igloocommunity.org/support/Flashing_howto

as it updates the firmware and u-boot environment at the same time.
The following image could be used for this purpose:
http://releases.linaro.org/12.03.1/ubuntu/leb-snowball/snowball_emmc-ubuntu-2012.03.1.img.gz
