Reopening this after a chat with npitre.

When takeing the 3.7 baseline, no iks code, a kernel generated using vexpress_defconfig will crash while a kernel generated using "./scripts/kconfig/merge_scritps.sh linaro/configs/big-LITTLE-MP.conf linaro/configs/vexperss.conf linaro/configs/linaro-base.conf" won't. The diff between the two configs is 1062 line long, which amount to probably 300 config options.

Investigation continues.
